On 14 October 2012 Felix Baumgartner jumped to Earth from a helium balloon in the stratosphere. He set the world record for skydiving an estimated 39 kilometres (24 mi), reaching an estimated speed of 1,342 kilometres per hour (834 mph), or Mach 1.24. The capsule was launched from Roswell International Air Center at 09:30 MDT (15:30 UTC). Shortly after passing the Armstrong limit, Baumgartner expressed concerns that his visor heater was not functioning properly. Mission Control continued with the mission, and 40 minutes later announced that the jump would continue regardless of the reported problem.
Standing on the step of the capsule, Baumgartner made a short address:
“I know the whole world is watching now. I wish you could see what I can see. Sometimes you have to be up really high to understand how small you are… I’m coming home now.”

SYNOPSIS
Lucy is half naked, immobilised and tied to the bed; her boyfriend lies dead next to her. In the forced loneliness of her bedroom, thinking only of her deepest fears, she faces a purifying Odyssey that will allow her to stitch up the wound she has in her heart, while touching the essence of love. She is the image of a crucifixion permanently observed from the ground, underlining the nature of the human drama, humble, but with divine aspirations.
Around her, an empty, sunny countryside, pregnant with summer sultriness, hides a terrible secret which will break into Lucy’s claustrophobic bedroom/prison.

* sorry for poor quality, it was a century ago when cameras were simply too expensive to afford and overall quality was frozen at shitty 720 standard resolution. It was also my first feature film, self-produced with a ridicolous budget and many, many, many things to learn and to test.. one those total experiences that train up you as a director and an artist. Even this new ultra-shortened cut version was a challenge and a training process.

There are timelapse of every kind, from the fabolous starrynight sequences of nature, cities, food, people.. I pictured it’d have been cool to apply the same procedure to something that doesn’t exist in the real world, something that’s only virtual. The Google Doodles were the best subject for this test, so this video isn’t just a fan’s super-enthusiastic google celebration but an experimental editing to see how a bit sequence evolves, how a digital impulse literally grows.
Doooodlevolution is the collection of all Google Doodles from 1998 to 2012, a full world wide experience at the “clockwork” rate of 1 doodle per frame, for a total of more than 2000 single images.
